2005 Wetlands Month Print "Camas with Friends"
2005 Wetlands Month Print :
Price:
WREN is fortunate and proud to have the work "Camas with Friends" by Charles J. Johnston offered as a fundraiser to support the educational programs in the West Eugene Wetlands. This giclée print of archival quality measures 10” x 20” Cost of shipping and handling is included in the totals above. Customers may also print out the form from the shopping cart page and mail it to WREN with payment.

The original painting titled “Camas with Friends” was inspired by spring fields of bluish-purple camas blooming in profusion in the West Eugene Wetlands. Johnston relocated from Afton, Minnesota, where he was a regionally and nationally recognized wildlife/naturalist artist. Since moving to Oregon his work has become impressionistic, focusing on local landscapes and themes.

WREN has also partnered with Raven Frame Works of Eugene. Owners Anne Korn and Terry Way graciously donated two framed prints for WREN events. This beautifully double matted print is framed to meet the Fine Art Care & Treatment Standards for preservation framing, the highest standards for longevity. Raven Frame Works at 325 West 4th in Eugene, 342-3067 is also offering a $25 gift certificate for prints purchased through WREN for the custom frame services for “Camas with Friends." Visit www.ravenframeworks.com .

Giclée prints are high resolution digital reproductions using archival ink and acid-free fine art paper and canvas. This state of the art technology produces unrivaled color accuracy and detail, as well as a print that will, if not abused, maintain its integrity for decades to come. Protect from abrasions, as paper surface is soft and will "scuff" in dark areas. For optimal life span, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Use of UV protected glass when framing paper prints is recommended. Giclée prints are accepted as "museum quality". This method of printing is rapidly becoming the standard process for high quality art reproduction.
