Our mission is to educate and promote land stewardship through programs and partnerships, highlighting the application of scientific research in the management of critical habitats.

Located in the West Eugene Wetlands, home to hundreds of plants and animals, and over 3,000 acres of wetland and upland ecosystems, our education programs engage with a variety of learners. From deepening the understanding of adults and families with Wetland Wanders and Family Explorations Days, to increasing students’ engagement through our field trips and classroom visits and rich context of our public lands.

We pride ourselves in giving community members and students opportunities to learn, teach, research, create, dream, explore, speak out, and thereby make a difference.
